This Friendship

Like blossoms in summer,
It sweet odour diffused to all corners
Touching every soul
And enticing every mind.
Like a fountain
In the middle of a fairy jungle,
It romanced the heart
And induced its magical warmth,
Touching every single bit
Of life’s evidence within us.
Like a pillar supporting
The outrageously laid thatch
Surpassing as our roof,
It kept us in place.
Like that glue binding
The open mouthed shoe,
Did it stick us together
Nothing could sneak in.
Like the sun that creeps
Out when we are freezing
To the core of our bones
And warms our blood streams,
Did it make us cheat any mishaps.
This friendship,
Yes this friendship
Is in my books.
